I’m Elena Widmer – a wedding and portrait photographer based in Zug, Switzerland, and available throughout Switzerland and Europe.

Since 2010, I have had the privilege of documenting weddings, portraits and life’s most meaningful milestones for couples and families who value timeless, elegant photography.

Photography has always been more than creating beautiful images. For me, it is about preserving the feeling of a moment before it quietly becomes a memory.

I am drawn to natural light, genuine emotion and the beauty found in the in-between moments – the ones that often pass unnoticed, yet become the most meaningful with time. My approach is calm, unobtrusive and intuitive, allowing you to be fully present while I document your story as it naturally unfolds.

Having lived in Switzerland since 2005, I feel equally at home photographing elegant city celebrations, intimate mountain ceremonies and quiet family moments. Every story is different, and that is exactly what continues to inspire me.

I photograph both digitally and on film, choosing the medium that best complements the atmosphere and emotion of your day.
